Welcome to planDisney, Holly!
Thank you for visiting us with your question regarding the Walt Disney World Water Parks! No trip is complete without visiting one of the splashtastic parks, either:
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park or
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. The restroom facilities offer toilets, showers, changing areas with curtains and sinks with hand dryers, but alas, no hair dryers. If you plan on showering, you will need to bring your own toiletries as shampoo, conditioner and soap are not provided. Luckily, there are lockers available in the water park should you want to bring your own items, but not carry them with you throughout the day. Personally, I like to dry off and change before we head back to the resort as the air conditioning in Disney buses makes for a
cold ride back with wet swimsuits!
While I love the thrill of
Summit Plummet, most of my day at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park you can find me relaxing on
Cross Country Creek. This 3000-foot-long lazy river is the perfect way to soak up some Florida sunshine. There are a few extra waterfalls, geysers and leaky pipes you'll pass by to keep you cool while you're floating along. I love to kick back, relax and enjoy the scenery!
All that chilling out is sure to work up an appetite and the
mini donuts found at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park are a must-have! For a more substantial meal, I prefer the
Lottawatta Lodge and enjoy the White Cap Flatbread. I can even order from across the park using the
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App and head to pick it up!
Enjoy your incredible Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Holly! Please come see us again soon with any other planning questions.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
