    Anyone know when Beaches and cream will be reopening? We have a trip for Christmas and my daughter is looking forward to going here while we are staying at the resort.

    Hey there, Trisha. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. 

    Beaches & Cream Soda Shop is an all time favorite of mine. We are staying at Disney's Beach Club Resort soon and I am so glad I get to squeeze in at least one more lunch before it closes for refurbishment later this summer. The latest information out right now says that Beaches & Cream Soda Shop will be closed from August-December. I know that the latest reservation date is August 3rd so I would expect a closure right after that. However, no dates are available in December yet so I'm not sure of the timeline. However, keep an eye on the calendar as we get closer to December and you just might see the opening day pop up. Hopefully, it will be ready by Christmastime because my family and I will be there too and it's always a tradition to visit for that yummy grilled cheese sandwich. Until then, Ample Hills Creamery is just a short walk around the lake from Beaches & Cream Soda Shop and has really good ice cream. It's a good substitute for when you need something cold and creamy!

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
