    Does anyone have any idea when the Skyliner service will start? I am at Pop Century Sept. 1st. It would be really convenient if it was accepting riders by then !

    Just like you, I'm so excited about the Disney Skyliner! I can't wait for the Skyliner's gondolas to begin transporting Guests throughout Walt Disney World Resort. It will be so nice to have an alternate mode of transportation from multiple Disney Resort hotels to Disney's Hollywood Springs and Epcot. Plus, I'm sure the gondolas will offer an amazing view of Walt Disney World Resort!

    Since you will be staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort, you will have access to a Skyliner Station right at your hotel. I just got back from a vacation at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, which also has a Skyliner Station, and it would have been so nice to use the Disney Skyliner for our transportation. Currently, we know that the Disney Skyliner will begin transporting Guests in the fall of 2019, but we don't yet have an exact opening date. So I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about the Disney Skyliner. Over the past several months, the blog has posted several status updates about the Disney Skyliner and I expect that they may post plans about the opening of the Disney Skyliner as autumn approaches. Hopefully, it will be open for you to enjoy during your trip!

    Even if the Disney Skyliner isn't open for your vacation, you will still have a variety of transportation options for your vacation travel. You can use complimentary bus transportation to travel from Disney's Pop Century Resort to the theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs. Plus, you can take advantage of the Minnie Van Service during your vacation for private, direct transportation throughout Walt Disney World Resort!
