Has anyone heard if Disney has released height information about the seven dwarfs mine train? We will be there in Sept. 2014 so it should be open. Wondering if my 2.5 yo will be tall enough for the "family coaster". Thanks for all you do MP!!!

    Hi Holly ~

Thank you for coming to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your questions!  I am super excited about the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train which will be the centerpiece of the New Fantasyland. I can't wait to climb aboard for what is sure to be a one of a kind adventure.

The Disney Parks Blog hosted a live chat with Walt Disney Imagineers Jason Grandt and Dave Minichiello in the fall and they discussed details on Princess Fairytale Hall and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.  During the chat, Dave said that the height requirement for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Trail will be 38 inches.  The link above has some interesting questions and details addressed by the Imagineers that day that you may enjoy.

Hopefully your daughter will be tall enough to ride during your trip.  I always measure my boys just before our trips and check the height requirements of the attractions so that we are prepared and ahead of time.  It makes it much easier than facing disappointment once we reach the parks.

There is still no opening date set for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.  Keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for an announcement. You can subscribe to their daily emails so that you'll be notified of new blog posts with all the latest exciting news. If you're on twitter, be sure to follow @DisneyParks and @WaltDisneyWorld. You can also keep your eyes on the official Walt Disney World Facebook page.

Please feel free to visit with all of your planning questions. We're honored to assist you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories:-) Allison V.
