Does anyone have a good explanation as to why the characters such as Mickey and Minnie do not talk? Child is getting suspicious!

    Hi Suzanne!

I understand the problem completely!  One suggestion that seems to work is Mickey and Minnie don't speak, because there are visitors from all over the world that visit Walt Disney World and Mickey and Minnie don't know every language.  Since they don't want to insult anybody, they just don't speak to anybody.  Of course, that doesn't make sense 100 percent because Mickey and Minnie will talk in the various stage shows and parades.

Good luck and write back if you have any more questions!
