Can anyone go to the Chip and Dale campfire sing a long, or do you have to be staying at the campground? We are staying at the Pop Century. What would be the best way to get there? Also, what time does it start (we are coming in November)? Thanks!!

Hi Dixie!  I am heading to Chip and Dales's Campfire Singalong tonight and can't wait. So happy the weather is cooperating too!

Any Disney guest is welcome to come and join the fun at this fun Fort Wilderness event.  Times will change according to the time of year so please be sure and call 407-824-2727 for up to date information. At this time the great fire will be ignited at 7:30pm followed by the singalong at 8:00pm.  The movie is then next at 8:40pm.  On some nights two movies will be shown.  The movie schedule is generally published one month ahead.  You can call the number listed above about a month ahead to see what movies will be shown in November.

If you are coming directly from Pop Century you will need to catch a bus to one of the theme parks or Downtown Disney and then transfer to the Fort Wilderness bus.  When you arrive at Fort Wilderness you will make one more easy transfer to an internal bus.  This is very easy and you could take the yellow or the orange bus route so take the first one that comes along. Just make sure you let your bus driver know you want to get to Chip and Dales Campfire Singalong and they will make sure you get off at the best spot.

Your other choice to get to Fort Wilderness is to take a boat from the Magic Kingdom or the Contemporary or Wilderness Lodge resorts.  These boats will take you directly to the marina and then you can either take the sidewalks and walk to the campfire area or catch the internal bus.
