Does anyone have any experience with the preferred viewing location for the afternoon parade at MK (through AAA)? It is on the 2nd level of the Main St Train Station - will this be too far away from the action? Thoughts?

    Kathy:

I have watched two parades--both at night--from the Main Street Train Station at the Magic Kingdom, but neither under the AAA program for the afternoon parade.

Honestly, I thought that the train station was better suited for enjoying the fireworks rather the parade, as we were still quite a ways above the tops of the floats for the parade. To me, the parades are better at street-view, where the Characters are interacting with guests anyway.

However, the beauty of having a preferred location may be the fact that you don't have to sit out in the hot sun for an hour to secure a good seat. So if you're not bothered by having a bird's eye view, the shaded viewing area may be a plus.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
