Has anyone had experience with Celiac disease accommodations in Typhoon Lagoon dining? They do not seem to have sit down restaurants there. Can they cook a burger with Cross contamination?

    Hi there, Mrs.!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for swimming over with your question about Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park. It looks like you're planning to enjoy some time at The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few days - kowabunga! Mrs., you've come to the right place. I'm here to help you plan for a splash-tastic day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park!

As someone who has experience navigating Walt Disney World Resort dining with food allergies, I can understand the desire to plan ahead for a safe and comfortable experience. Mrs., I encourage you to reach out to the Special Diets team via email ( as soon as possible to request a Special Dietary Request Form. Then, you'll partner with the friendly Special Diets-trained Cast Members to customize a plan based on dining options suitable for your specific condition. Mrs., while Cast Members at the Walt Disney World Resort will make reasonable efforts to prevent cross-contamination during food preparation, they're unable to guarantee that menu items are completely allergen-free. If you have questions about quick-service offerings while at the water park, I recommend speaking to a Special Diets-trained Cast Member on-site or asking to view ingredient lists, if possible.

Did you know that Guests may bring personal food and beverages into Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park? You're welcome to bring your own allergy-friendly foods and beverages with you to ensure that you have suitable snacks during your fun in the sun! Mrs., if you do choose to bring a cooler with you, please note that it may be inspected by security prior to water park entry. Alcoholic beverages, glass, and loose or dry ice are not permitted in the water park.
