Has anyone ever tried to have Mickey Ice Cream pops mailed from Disney to home? I would really love to send some to a good friend who usually goes to Disney World every year but due to illnesses in the family, has been unable to go this last 2 years.

That is such a sweet gesture, Jennifer.  Your friend is lucky to know you!

While I haven't personally attempted to ship Mickey bars through the mail, I know that there are a number of companies that do indeed ship ice cream.  From what I've read, they do so by packing it in a styrene cooler with plenty of dry ice.  A simple Google search will yield you a number of companies that sell styrene coolers.  Dry ice is widely available at grocery stores and even gas stations.

I sure hope it works out for you; I would just love to see the look on your friend's face when he or she receives that pixie-dusted package.
