Has anyone ever taken a cab from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Fort Wilderness? How much should be budget for that and where is the cab stand at this theme park?

Hi Jill! I've utilized taxi services to get from my Disney resort hotel to a theme park and found it to be a quick, easy alternative especially when pressed for time for an advanced dining reservation.

The unofficial website www.mousesavers.com has a great page devoted to taxi transportation in Walt Disney World. On the main page, simply type in "taxi" in the top left hand corner search box. About half way down this page, you'll see a convenient link to a "Taxi Fare Estimator" which allows you to input your address information to receive an estimation of costs. Don't forget to budget for a tip for the driver too.

To catch a cab at Disney's Hollywood Studios, look for the yellow Checker Cab signs in the front parking lot. Walk past the Disney resort bus loading/ unloading area and on the left, very near the handicapped and motorcycle parking, you'll see the taxi stand.

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions my way in the days leading up to your trip!
