Has anyone ever stayed in two different Disney hotels during the same trip? I'm considering staying at Disney's Art of Animation for three nights and then moving to Disney's Beach Club or Disney's Boardwalk for two more nights.

    Hi Maggie!

It sounds like you are getting ready for a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and I'm happy to help you with your plans. You are considering three magical Disney Resort hotels and you really can't go wrong with any of these choices. I love to explore the Disney Resort hotels and enjoy their unique theming, dining and atmosphere, so getting the chance to stay in two hotels during the same vacation is perfect!

I have enjoyed "split-stay" vacations in the past, where I have enjoyed multiple Disney Resort hotels during one trip. This is a great way to explore different Disney Resort hotels and mix it up during your vacation. I love to add a few days at a Deluxe hotel at the end of our vacation to enjoy some luxury at the end of our trip, while staying at a Value hotel at the beginning of our trip to help with our vacation budget!

The great thing about "split-stays" at Walt Disney World Resort is that the Cast Members make it so easy to transfer between your hotels. When you are checking out of your first hotel, simply call Bell Services from your room to ask for help with your luggage. Let them know that you are transferring hotels and they will take your bags from your room and magically transfer them to your new room at your next Disney Resort hotel when it is ready. You are free to enjoy the theme parks and Disney Springs during the day without worrying about your luggage, since all of your bags will be waiting in your new hotel room when you get there!

I recommend that you consider your "split-stay" when you are packing your luggage for your vacation. I like to pack my family's clothes into separate suitcases or packing cubes for each piece of our trip, so I can minimize packing and unpacking when we make the transfer between hotels! Let us know if you have additional questions as you continue planning your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
