Has anyone ever stayed at the Club Level Deluxe Room at Wilderness Lodge? I would like to see pics or know if it is roomy enough for 6 like it says? Thank you

    Hi Heidi!

The Deluxe Rooms at the Wilderness Lodge are great rooms.  It is possible to sleep 6 in the rooms, though you might be tight for space, especially if it is 6 adults.  All rooms have 2 queen-size beds and one queen-size sleeper sofa.  The rooms have a sitting area separated from the bedroom by French doors.

Samantha Brown did a "Great Hotels" episode on the Wilderness Lodge for the Travel Channel.  In it, she shows what a Deluxe Room looks like and offers.  The show is repeated periodically on the Travel Channel if you are interested.  Also, you can see photos of the room at the independent website AllEars.Net.  From their home page, click on "accommodations" and then scroll down the left column until you find "Wilderness Lodge" with "Photos - Text links".

Personally, I think 6 guests would feel more comfortable in a 2 bedroom Deluxe Villa in the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) portion of the Wilderness Lodge, called the Villas at Wilderness Lodge.  You would have a lot more room and a full kitchen and washer and dryer.

If you do stay at the Wilderness Lodge, be sure to make an advanced dining reservation at the Whispering Canyon Cafe.  It is a great family restaurant and a lot of fun.  If you go, be sure to ask for ketchup or insist on getting a large drink of something!

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
