Has anyone ever gone on the safari while pregnant? I will be 4 months pregnant and I really want to be able to do this with my daughter but I know there is a restriction in place.

    Hi, there!

Welcome back to planDisney, Ashley. We just love when you stop by with your planning questions!

I'm so happy to hear you're expecting. There's nothing better than a new baby in the house! Squeezing this Disney vacation in before your little one arrives is the perfect opportunity to make some super special mommy-and-me memories with your preschooler. How exciting!

Kilimanjaro Safaris is included in the list of attractions that post an Expectant Mothers Advisory. That said, I rode this family-friendly attraction when I was in the first trimester of my last pregnancy. I felt that I could safely and comfortably ride at that time. Had I been in my third trimester, however, I'm sure I would have been VERY uncomfortable on a bumpy ride through the Harambe Wildlife Reserve!

My best advice is to consult your doctor about your specific pregnancy needs before you travel to the Walt Disney World Resort. For more information about attractions and experiences that expectant mothers can enjoy, call a friendly Cast Member at (407) 939-5277. My dear friend and fellow panelist, Kristen, has some great advice about visiting the theme parks while pregnant. I hope you find it helpful!

I'm wishing you and your family a magical visit next month!
