Has anyone ever driven from Texas to WDW? We have two children (4yo & 20months) and still trying to decide, drive or fly? Also, my family will be driving in from KY and they will have a car for us if need be and can bring stuff for us.

Denise it is a LONG drive!!!!  Traveling with a four year old can be hard unless you have many movies and games to entertain along the way but traveling with a 20 month year old can be just hard!  Depending on where you are in Texas the drive can be no less then about 17 hours with the possibility of more and with an infants needs you will most likely be stopping many times.  Flying these days is not stress free either but the benefit comes in that you arrive quickly and can grab a quick rest and start a vacation happy.  After a long and arduous drive you will need a long rest to get refreshed and ready to play.

Check out some of the air carriers who fly from your home city in Texas. I know Southwest can run some amazing deals to Orlando and you might find a great schedule and price from them.  You can check a stroller, take Magical Express for transportation to your resort, and enjoy the ability to use your Kentucky family car for supplies if need be while you are there.

You don't want to hate the vacation before it even starts!!!
