    Has anyone eaten at the The Chef's Tasting Wine Dinner at the Flying Fish Café? I was wondering about doing it as a surpirse anniversary for my husband when we go in Sept. Can't wait Thanks for all your help

    Hi Erin!

    I've never had the chance to enjoy The Chef's Tasting Wine Dinner at the Flying Fish Cafe, but my sister has.  She and her husband celebrated their wedding anniversary there recently and they had nothing but wonderful things to say about the experience. 

    They are wine lovers, and really appreciated the fact that they could speak to the chefs while their meals were being prepared.  They were able to learn the reasons behind the pairings of particular wines to each course.  My sister loved the food, and really enjoyed being able to learn so much from the experts.  The chefs seemed to enjoy talking about the ingredients and their backgrounds in cooking.  Being a typical guy, my brother in law commented on the value.  "I would have paid double for that meal" says it all!

    I hope this helps you decide.  They really enjoyed it and told me they would recommend it to everyone.  Have a happy anniversary!
