Hiya Karen! Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with another great question!
Let the countdown begin! You are only two months away until you arrive for your magical
Walt Disney World getaway! Now is the perfect time to start discussing where you plan to eat while you are there since
Advanced Dining Reservations can be made 60 days before your arrival.
Disney's Hollywood Studios has some fantastic table service restaurants that cater to everyone in the family! I recently ate at
The Hollywood Brown Derby with my two daughters (8 and 5 years old) and we had a wonderful time. While the service is top-notch and the food is delectable, we did not feel at all out of place with our kids there. There were many tables full of families of all ages and everyone was thoroughly enjoying themselves. There is a wide selection of available items on the kid's menu, including macaroni & cheese for your little ones. They will have plenty of options to choose from here.
Hollywood & Vine has gone back to serving a buffet-style meal. There are a few children's items that are included in the buffet, but I do not recall that macaroni and cheese is an option. If you have your heart set on this restaurant, especially since it is a Character Dining meal, you can check with your server upon arrival to see if they can accommodate your request. There are instances when they may be able to bring out a plain dish of macaroni and cheese without the shrimp and bacon. This is completely up to the restaurant and by no means a guarantee. You will be taking a risk by making a reservation here that the restaurant will be unable to accommodate your request.
Karen, I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming visit!
See ya real soon!
