Has anyone has been to DW the week AFTER thanksgiving week. Were thinking the week after of 2013. The dates fall in DEC. that year though, they are the 1st-8th. Wondering on crowds, wait times, special offers (Free dining), xmas decor, weather, etc.

The week after Thanksgiving is the perfect time to visit Walt Disney World. The parks are are at their most beautiful. You must check out the thousands of shimmering icicles on top of Cinderella Castle. Some of the parks and resorts have amazing gingerbread houses that are huge and contain some of your favorite Disney characters. Recently at Disney's BoardWalk Inn we saw Donald dress as Santa coming down the chimney into the giant gingerbread house. It was amazing and smelled delicious. My family loves the winter costumes that the characters sport during the holidays. You might catch Mickey in his winter sweater basking in the holiday spirit. As for crowds and wait times, they are usually lighter until winter break begins for schools, so that's good news. The weather can be a bit tricky around this time. I would suggest layers and even bring the poncho just in case of a shower. I hope this helps you with your trip. You picked a great time to visit.
