Can anyone make a dining reservation 180 days before you want to dine, or just the guests staying on Disney property. We are staying at the Swan and I was just told by Courthey on the panel that I can not. Please help! We want to eat in the castle!

I hope I can clear things up for you, Karyn.  First of all, let me assure you that all guests--regardless of where they are staying--are welcome and encouraged to book dining reservations 180 days in advance.  Additionally, guests staying in Disney-owned resorts are extended the exclusive opportunity to book up to ten days of dining reservations starting at 180 days out from the first day of their vacations.  In other words, guests of Disney-owned resorts are entitled to basically book up to 190 days out.  I think that perk was what Courtney had in mind when she answered your original question incorrectly.  It happens to the best of us!  But, just to clarify, all guests are permitted and encouraged to book dining reservations at the 180 day mark.  Good luck obtaining that highly sought after Cinderella's Royal Table reservation!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists.
