Hi Jennifer,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and welcome back from your vacation. My family loves reminiscing about all the scrumptious snacking and memorable meals we’ve had at Walt Disney World, especially when we’re dreaming about our next visit!
Jennifer, depending on the recipe, you may find luck with a quick online search. Pinterest is overflowing with copycat Disney recipes – but be sure to take a look at comments first to avoid disappointment. I recently attempted to make a Dole Whip at home using an online copycat recipe, and while it was good (how is frozen pineapple
ever bad though?), it was not as magical as I wanted it to be.
There are plenty of Disney-affiliated websites that often share recipes from around the parks and resorts. The
Disney Parks Blog is a great source for recipes and park news, and I enjoy following Disney Family and Babble on social media, as they often feature recipes along with craft and party ideas that my kids just love.
You could also email Walt Disney World at guest.mail@wdw.disneyonline.com and ask if they are able to share the recipe. Try to be as specific as possible about the recipe – tell them where you found the item and the item’s name if possible. Don't forget to ask them if there are other spots around the parks where you could enjoy this delicious eat in the future.
Jennifer, if you’ve put on your detective hat and done all that searching and still come up empty-handed, there’s only one solution: a return trip to Walt Disney World where you order and enjoy the item at least five times and take copious notes so you can create your own recipe! I suggest bringing a friend and wearing cute t-shirts or buttons to savor every minute of your recipe resEARch.
Wishing you some culinary pixie dust,
Robyn
