Can anyone confirm that sushi still counts as an appetizer on the DDP at the revamped California Grill?

    Hi there Amber!

I'm really looking forward to trying out the newly revamped California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort. It was already fabulous - so I can't imagine how much MORE fabulous it's likely to have become!

I've just spoken with Disney Dining on your behalf. They've confirmed that if you're using the Deluxe or Platinum Disney Dining Plans, your Appetizer at California Grill can indeed include ordering from the fabulous Sushi menu.

If using the regular Disney Dining Plan, your Signature, 2 Table Service Credit per person meal at California Grill includes an Entree and Dessert as well as a soft drink. Should you wish to include an appetizer or sushi as well as your entree and dessert, you are certainly able to add on to your meal and then pay for those items just as you would for alcoholic beverages.

I hope this information helps you out Amber!
If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to write me back. I'd love to hear from you again.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
