Hi Brittney! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am SO happy to hear that you are planning a visit with your
little one soon! My son's first visit was at 6-months-old and my daughter's first visit was at 4-months-old. I can say from experience that these early
visits were absolutely magical! There are certainly challenges that come with going anywhere with an infant, but with a little preparation you can have a wonderful time!
When it comes to rides that are suitable for infants, any
ride without a height requirement is perfect for the whole family. My kiddos have napped on attractions like "it's a small world," Spaceship Earth, and Pirates of the Caribbean. I just held them in my lap during the rides. You can find a list of all attractions without height requirements at the link I included above.
I highly recommend bringing a
stroller with you. Not only will this be useful for making your way around the theme parks, but it is also a great spot for your infant to nap and to hold all the items that you have to bring with you into the theme park. Diapers, wipes, changes of clothes, bottles, blankets, etc... it is a lot! Having a compartment under the stroller to hold diaper bags is a life-saver! When bringing your own stroller, make sure it is less than 31" wide by 52" long and you should be good to go!
There is a
Baby Care Center located in each of the four theme parks and you will want to check them out! They have nursing rooms, changing tables, essential items for sale (in case you forget something at home), and even a resting area with a TV for anyone else in your party to take a break.
I hope these tips help, Brittney! Enjoy your visit with your little one and let us know if you have any other questions.
