Aloha, Ashley and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Ashley, as Moana was lured by the sea, when my husband and I were first exploring a
Disney Vacation Club Membership, we were called by the possibilities of using our points at destinations around the country like
Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas. Another draw for us was the varying accommodations like having a 1-Bedroom Villa. And speaking of varying accommodations, you bring up a great question about what kitchen ammenities you'll find when you check-in.
In speaking with a Disney Vacation Club representative she let me know that standard in all
1-, 2- and 3-Bedroom units you will find a coffee maker, dinnerware, glassware, flatware, pots and pans, microwave, toaster, stove, oven, full-size refrigerator and dishwasher. I'm sure you're now wondering...
but, what about the blender? While those do not come pre-stocked in your villa, there are a limited number available at the resort on a first-come, first-served basis that you can request.
Ashley, if you are like me and always start your morning off with a blended smoothie and don't want to chance not having that available, I would suggest packing a personal-sized blender if you have room in your luggage. If you like to throw caution to the wind, or were just hoping to have one handy for treats, make sure to request that as soon as you check-in.
When my family has stayed in the 1-Bedroom Villas at other Disney Vacation Club Resorts, we love having the full size kitchen for breakfast in the mornings. It's such a relaxing way to start each day of our vacation and I hope you love it as much as we do.
Ashley, I hope this helps as you are looking ahead to your next adventure. Best wishes for a pixie-dusted stay in paradise. Please sail on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you might have.
Aloha!
Lauren
