Hello there Flavio, welcome to planDisney!
It's a great idea to check the
Guest attire policies prior to your trip so you're informed! I spoke to a helpful Cast Member, and they did confirm that costumes may not be worn by Guests ages 14 or older throughout the entire Disneyland Resort, including the
Downtown Disney District.
Even though there are policies around wearing costumes, it does not mean that you cannot dress to represent your favorite Disney character or movie! We love to find a new shirt, sweatshirt, or hat that shows our love for our favorite movie or characters. You'll find my kids in
Star Wars,
Guardians of the Galaxy, or Stitch gear, and my husband and I usually are dressed in classic Mickey or Marvel attire!
We love to shop the stores in the Downtown Disney District such as
World of Disney for the latest apparel and souvenirs. Even though I usually come packed with my outfits for each day, I can always be persuaded to buy a new piece of Disneyland apparel to add to my collection!
I hope this helps answer your question, Flavio! If we can help with anything else throughout the year, don't hesitate to
come back to planDisney.
Have a magical day!
Melissa
