Does anyone have advise regarding Disney Visa Rewards? Should I try to get the dream dollars card before I leave for my Disney trip in December, or should I "cash" them in at MK? I heard there are places in the park to redeem points for Disney

    Hi Melissa,

I absolutely love my Chase Disney Visa Rewards card! I get so many compliments on the card design too. I'm sure everyone has their favorite way of spending their rewards but I love using mine for shopping at WDW - I feel like I'm getting awesome free souvenEARs. There are lots of places at WDW that accept Disney Dream Reward Dollars. I would order the Disney Rewards Redemption Card about a month prior to your trip. That way you ensure you have it in time & don't have to pay the $10.00 rush fee.

The first time you order a rewards redemption card, you will need to transfer a minimum of 20 reward dollars. After that you can transfer your reward dollars over & over to this same card. They do require that you transfer a minimum of 10 reward dollars each time. The redemption card will have an expiration date so be sure you keep an eye on it & order a new one before it expires. I like taking care of as many details before I leave on my trip - one less thing to think about & leaves me more time to play once I'm there.

I usually wait until a few days before each of my trips to transfer all of my reward dollars because its like having cash (with the exception that its only redeemable at certain places).

Don't forget that there are theme park perks associated with your Chase Disney Visa Rewards card such as discounts on merchandise at select locations at the WDW Resort in FL & Disneyland in CA.  There are also discounts offered on select tours. When you're making reservations, the Cast Members don't usually ask if you have a Disney Visa Rewards Card so be sure to mention that when booking your reservations. To see a complete list with terms & conditions go to http://disneyrewards.disney.go.com/pdf/Credit_Park_Perks.pdf .

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
