Does anyone have advice on whether or not to do the Fantasmic Dining Package at HS? I heard that the seating for that select group is not as good as if you just show up and take your chances.

    Hi Whitney!

Fantasmic! is definitely a "must see".  It is my favorite nighttime spectacular at Walt Disney World.  There is no doubt that you can get a better seat for Fantasmic! by just showing up early.  The seats reserved for the Fantasmic Dining Package are off to the right.

The question then becomes "when should you get there?"  I think it will depend on whether Fantasmic! will be running every night while you are there.  If it's running every night, then I think showing up about 45 minutes before is good enough.  However, if it's not running every night, then 90 minutes is probably really necessary.  At the moment, Disney is running Fantasmic! nightly which is change in policy from the last couple of years, but it is not known if that will continue throughout the rest of the year.

By the way, if there are two showings on the night you visit then the later show will always be less crowded.

Write back if you have any more questions!
