    Does anticipated Memory Maker lasts 30 days? But it does not include the photos of three days before or after the purchase right? If I visit parks and restaurants on September 10, 11, 12 and 13, when should I buy it?

    Welcome to planDisney! I love using Memory Maker on trips with my family. It's great to know that I will have great family pictures in the most iconic and fun locations and not have to worry about who will have to take them! My favorite thing about Memory Maker photos is the Magic Shots which I always request with the PhotoPass photographer. 

    The best thing about Memory Maker is that you can purchase it in advance and it only activates when you select to activate it on the My Disney Experience Mobile App or My Disney Experience. From that point of activation, you have 30 days to keep using Memory Maker. Photos from that trip will be available for you to download for up to 45 days from the date they are taken. If you know that you want Memory Maker purchase it now for a discounted price. When you arrive in September start taking all the fun pictures you want by tapping your MagicBand or Key to the World Card on a device the PhotoPass photographer will present to you. Then, you can open up your My Disney Experience Mobile App on your phone, click the three stacked lines on the bottom right and then select "Photos." You will see all of the photos that have been taken so far during your trip. When you are ready to download them just click on a photo and an option to activate your Memory Maker will pop up. You will then go ahead and activate it and you are done. You can now keep adding memories and magical moments to your Memory Maker for the next 30 days and then be able to download for another 45 days from the date they were taken. I like to download them right to my computer as I tend to end up with so many that the file size is huge. I also love when I find special images included with overlays and themes that I did not expect. It is a very fun surprise!

    Don't forget to check out the Disney PhotoPass Studio in Disney Springs which has some fun backgrounds for more formal photos. We always do a few pictures here with my family. I am especially excited this year to visit the PhotoPass photographer in front of TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise. It will be best to do that at night when the ride is beautifully lit up behind you!
