    Hi! Is there an anticipated date for the kennel to reopen? I’d love to bring my pup there.

    Hi there, Angela! Welcome to planDisney! I know Pluto and Goofy would be so happy to hear how important your pup is to you. I have a Frenchie myself who just loves to come along on trips, especially magical ones! 

    While I do have to share that it looks like the Disneyland Kennel Club will not be reopening, let's dig a little deeper and see if we can come up with an alternative solution for you and your furbaby. My first suggestion would be to check out some of the Disney-approved Good Neighbor Hotels that are pet-friendly! You can actually do this right on the Disneyland Website by navigating to the "Places To Stay" tab and choosing "Good Neighbor Hotels". After you search for your dates, you can add a filter to only show you the "Pet Friendly" hotels! If you see the "Filter By" bar just along the top of your search results, use the drop-down arrow next to "Hotel Features & Dining" and check the "Pet Friendly" box. Once you've narrowed down your choices, you may want to give the hotel a call to get details on their pet policy, but hopefully, you found something that is just the right fit! 

    Another option would be to do an internet search for nearby boarding or pet care-taker options in Anaheim. I know this might take a little patience and a lot of faith, trust, and pixie dust, but I'm wishing on a star that you find some options that will work for you and your pup!

    Angela, I'm sure your pup will be on your mind while you are enjoying the magic of the parks. You might even want to bring home a souvenir for your furry friend! Before you head out of the parks, swing through World of Disney® where there is usually a very adorable selection of accessories just for our furbabies waiting for us back home. And if you need a pet snuggle while you are in the parks, I have great news for you! Character greetings are BACK, including hugs, handshakes, and high-fives, so Goofy and Pluto will be waiting with open arms!
