Do you anticipate Disneyland/California Adventure will open to out of state visitors on June 15? If I am coming from out of state and make reservations/purchase tickets now for July and the park does NOT open to out of state can I get a refund?

    Hi Bonnie! Welcome to planDisney.

I have some BIG news for you! Beginning June 15, 2021, out-of-state visitors will be welcomed back to the Disneyland Resort theme parks. Happy dance time!

This helpful Disney Parks Blog article outlines all the must-know information, and I also recommend reading the Returning to a Land of Magic guidance so you can plan and know what to expect. The State of California strongly recommends all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test before entering the theme parks, and face coverings are required.

As you plan, please note that all Disneyland Resort theme park tickets are non-refundable, though the cost of many wholly unused ticket types may be applied to a future ticket. The eTicket Terms and Conditions provide helpful guidance on how your ticket may be used.

Bonnie, I am wishing you so much magic on your upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort. I know so many Disney fans have been waiting for a long time for this magical moment, and I'm so thrilled for you. As you plan and dream about your visit, please come back and see us if we can help with any more questions.

Wishing you a great big beautiful tomorrow,
    Robyn
