    Hello, Jennifer!

So glad you came back for more information!

Let's first address the Fantasmic! Dining Package that you'd like to reserve. These particular packages are released a bit later than at the start of the 180 day window for booking dining reservations. Be sure to check back often, or call (407) WDW-DINE to ask a Cast Member if these packages have been released yet.  They do book up quickly, so check online or call as often as you can!

I also suggest that you book a reservation at the restaurant you'd like to experience for the Fantasmic! Dining Package, just in case. You can ask a Cast Member (or go online to do this on your own) to cancel your first reservation if you are able to secure your Dining Package after all.  This way, you'll still have your great Table-Service reservation for that day, no matter what.

For Fourth of July celebrations, don't miss the special holiday firework display at Magic Kingdom Park.  They are truly the most spectacular I've seen. WDW often does a run-through of the 4th July fireworks on the 3rd of July, so you might want to be in Magic Kingdom Park on the 3rd also. We've also seen 4th fireworks at Disney's Hollywood Studios but they cannot compare to the 360 degree display at MK.  However, you really need to get into your park of choice, especially if it's Magic Kingdom, as early as possible that day. Parks will close to additional guests when they've reached capacity; you'll want to be INSIDE the gates before that happens.

You may see some of your favorite classic characters dressed in their finest red, white and blue, and poolside games at your resort may be themed for the Nation's Birthday, too.  This is truly a festive place to be to celebrate the birth of our Nation.

Send me more questions as you think of them!  I'd love to help your first visit be the best it can be!
