You just answered a question for me earlier suggesting we might borrow points. Our year starts over in June, can we borrow points from our year starting in June for a trip next month or is it too close to time of? Thanks!!

    Hello, Michele!

Just to be sure that I give you the latest info., I called Disney Vacation Club Member Services on your behalf and was told that you can borrow points from your next Use Year (which in your case starts in June) and travel next month, as long as you booking your stay in a Disney Vacation Club villa.  (Should you wish to stay in a Disney Collection room, however, you cannot borrow and travel within the last four months of your Use Year.)  This simply means that you can borrow your points for a stay at, perhaps Old Key West, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge-Kidani Village or Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa, among others, at this time.

To be sure of the specifics surrounding your Use Year and the opportunities for an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World using borrowed points, just call Member Services at 1-800-800-9800; they'll be happy to help!

And, of course, be sure to come with more questions for me as you do so!  I'd love to help, too!
