Hiya Theresa and welcome back to planDisney. I am so glad to see you again and I appreciate the follow-up question about booking
Disney dining reservations for your elite party of eleven.
First, you should definitely try to get the 11-person reservation then go for two smaller reservations if the single larger one is not available. Since Disney's
multiple reservation policy is that no one person may make dining reservations within two hours of the other, the best approach is to have two different people make separate reservations. You can be on the phone or online at the same time searching for that perfect dining time. We have done this many times over the years as our parties of 8-16 people have been difficult to seat all at once.
If you want to first try to make them online then wake up with the rooster around 5:30 AM so you are awake and ready to go. Around 6:00 AM, the new dining reservations will open but I would start checking as soon as 5:45 AM. Both people making reservations should be on their smartphones using the
My Disney Experience App or logged in to their
accounts with the dining reservation page open. If the date is not available, keep refreshing the page until it becomes available. Try and get reservations at the same time or within 15 minutes of each other.
As a suggestion, do not assign additional members of your party to a specific reservation. Maintain one lead Guest and that way you have versatility on who joins each reservation.
If you are unsuccessful in getting the time you want then try a different time or day. A different day may require you to alter your
Park Pass Reservations.
Theresa, your 60-day window is so soon. You know have some good knowledge and tools to be ready to go. The question is, "Will you reserve for a party of 12?" I really want to go also.
Enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories.
