We have our annual trip planned for this September and this year will be quiet different as we are going to be bringing our first baby for her 1st Birthday! YAY!!!! Is there a weight or age limit to be a passenger in the Sea Racers? Thanks a bunch!!! :0)

    Hi Ashley,

How exciting, I bet you are just jumping with joy about bringing your daughter to see Minnie and Mickey for the first time!  I am not too sure about the age restriction for a passenger on the Sea Raycers (although I would think a 1 year old would not be old enough, she must wear a life jacket and only 2 people can occupy the boat at any time which, if you were driving the boat you may not have enough hands to hold onto her as she is so young).  This is just my thought, but I would definitely call a cast member at (407) 939-0754 who will be able to give you the correct answer for this.  I was able to take my daughter on them with me when she was about 5 years old, but that was a few years ago now.

I can tell you what I know about restrictions and rules for going on the Sea Raycers as I have rented them many times both as an adult and a child....they are so much fun!   Guests must be at least 12 years old and at least 5 feet tall to drive a Sea Raycer. At Magic Kingdom area resorts, at least one person in the boat must have a valid driver's license. There is a maximum combined weight of 320 lbs permitted for a Sea Raycer, or 2 passengers. All drivers under the age of 18 MUST have a parent or legal guardian sign a release (please note that rules like these are always subject to change).

Have a most magical vacation at WDW with your daughter for the first time, may you experience many more!

    Best wishes,
