We are Annual Passholders at WDW and are planning a 1 day visit to Disneyland next Spring. Are the rides with similar names, the same at both parks? (ex: Pirates of the Caribbean) We were thinking we could hit both DL parks if we can skip the similar rides

    Hello Stacey!

I’m so glad you will get to experience Disneyland Resort! Being a Walt Disney World Annual Passport holder, you probably know the parks and attractions there by heart! My family has been to both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World a fair amount of times and while the attractions that have the same, or similar names are similar, I think you’ll find a few of them just a little more magical at Disneyland.

Space Mountain is great at Walt Disney World, but at Disneyland Resort, the ride has people sitting side by side instead of three in a row. Peter Pan’s Flight is slightly different as well, with twinkling lights in some of the areas that you might remember as being pretty dark. But my favorite attraction at Disneyland Park is Pirates of the Caribbean! This one has a bigger “drop” than it’s counterpart in Florida.

A few other rides have minor differences, but they will definitely delight you all the same! I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
