Can annual passholders park at resort hotels if they want to go shopping or eat at a quick service location, or do you need a reservation?

    Hello Alexander!

I love staying at a Walt Disney World Resort and dining at other Walt Disney World Resorts besides where I am staying. Some of the most unique restaurants are located within the Resorts of Walt Disney World! There are a lot of perks for Annual Passholders, like free parking at the four Walt Disney World theme parks.

Yes, you can temporarily park and eat at a Walt Disney World Resort counter service restaurant without a reservation or shop there. The parking is meant to be temporary while you eat or shop at the Resort (not for parking your vehicle and going to a theme park for the rest of the day). Keep in mind that for certain Walt Disney World Resorts at particular times of the year, they will limit their Resort parking to Guests of that Resort and Guests who have a reservation at a Table Service restaurant only. For example, during the Christmas Holiday season, the Magic Kingdom Resorts will limit their parking to Guests only or Guests with Advanced Dining Reservations. When you get to the Resort where you desire to eat counter service, tell the Cast Member at the Security Gate that you would like to eat at, shop, or explore that Resort. You will need to show an ID such as a driver's license, and if there is parking available, you will be let into that Resort. I have done this many times on my Walt Disney World vacations!

I hope your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is incredible!
