We are Annual Passholders for Disney World. Is there a way to make room-only reservations at a Good Neighbor hotel? We won't need a package that includes tickets. Can we do this thru Disney or directly thru that hotel's website?

Hey there, Jessica! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels offer some really great benefits, including the ability to make FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance of your check-in date and access to Extra Magic Hours. Plus, many of the Good Neighbor Hotels are in excellent locations and are budget-friendly, making them great options for Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.

Jessica, if you’d like to make a room-only reservation at a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel, you’ll need to make the reservation directly with that hotel. As you’ve noticed, the only way to reserve a Good Neighbor Hotel through the Disney Reservations Center is to book a vacation package, including both accommodations and tickets. As an Annual Passholder who doesn’t need tickets, if you visit the Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels website, you’ll see that it links directly to each hotel’s online reservation system, and you’ll be able to book from there. You’re also welcome to call the hotel directly if that’s easier for you.

Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholders have access to some really fantastic pixie dust, which may include discounted rooms at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. I recommend logging in to your My Disney Experience account and then searching for resort hotel rooms during your visit dates – I’ve had some really excellent deals pop up. My preference is always to stay inside the magical bubble at an on-site Walt Disney World Resort hotel, so I always check there first.

Have so much fun planning your visit, Jessica! If you end up staying in a Disney Springs Area hotel, the Disney Parks Blog is a great source of news about the latest dining, shopping, entertainment, and treats to be found in Disney Springs. Being able to stroll over for a treat from Amorette’s Patisserie or a drink from The Basket at Wine Bar George sounds just dreamy to me, and I hope you have the BEST time!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
