We are annual passholders & considering buying a Tables of Wonderland membership as we like to do many character meals at the parks. Can you still charge these meals to your magic band or do you have to carry a credit card/ID to the park?

    Hi Lisa,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

I’ve been a proud Walt Disney World Annual Passholder and Tables in Wonderland member for several years now and I absolutely love both! The “Tables” program really is amazing, especially if you like to indulge in a few Character Dining or other table service meals during your Disney Parks vacation.

I’m happy to say that you can absolutely choose to use your MagicBand’s charging privileges in order to charge a meal that uses your Tables in Wonderland discount back to your Disney Resort Hotel folio (which means, essentially, charging it to your room). If, however, you aren’t staying “on property”, you won’t be able to charge anything to your MagicBand and you’ll need to pay for your meal using a credit card.

I’d also highly recommend walking around with some form of photo identification when you choose to use your Tables in Wonderland card. I’ve had some dining locations ask me for ID when I’ve used it, and it’s always a good idea to have it on hand, just in case!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
