Hey there, Joni! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you've stopped by with such a great question. I love that I get to chat Disney with a fellow Annual Passholder!
Don't you just
love being a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, Joni?! I know I do! Being able to just make Theme Park Reservations and head to my happy place on a whim brings true joy and magic to my life. I love that the magic continues to call you, too, and I'm thrilled to answer your question today!
I just spoke with a helpful Cast Member who informed me that even if you wait until the end of your renewal window to renew your Annual Pass, you will still be billed for 12 months using the Monthly Payment Plan. Your monthly payment amount will be based on your remaining balance after your one-time payment of $205 at the time of purchase (prices are subject to change). Then, your first monthly payment will be charged on the day of renewal.
The Cast Member also informed me that if you wait until the 30th day after your Annual Pass expiration date to
renew on a Monthly Payment Plan, you will have to do it in person at a
Guest Relations location, so if it's easier for you to renew online, I recommend doing so before the end of your renewal period, which is 30 days after the expiration date of your Pass. That was something that I did not know, so I want to make sure to pass that along! Happy renewing, Joni!
I hope this was helpful, Joni, and I'm wishing you another year of fun and magical memories! Please stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!
Adventure is out there!
