Hi Francisco,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question about your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort.
How exciting, your trip is just a couple of days away! I'm glad you are planning on making your
Theme Park Reservations now, as the dates you are planning on visiting are very popular indeed. As you know, Theme Park Reservations are required to visit one of the four amazing theme parks in addition to your valid admission.
Francisco, although there are many
great perks of staying at a Disney Resort hotel, staying at one of them will not change the type of admission entitlements that is associated with your specific Annual Pass. If your Annual Pass has this weekend listed as part of the
blockout dates, you will need to use
Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets to enter the theme parks. As a Florida resident, you can check the prior link to see what kind of discounted multi-day tickets are available for you. However, you should know that if you will be purchasing a one-day ticket, the price is the same for Florida residents as it is for the general public.
After you have purchased your theme park tickets, be sure to make those Theme Park Reservations quickly! If you purchase a one-day ticket your Theme Park Reservation will be made at the time of purchase, but you will need to make your Theme Park Reservations separately if you purchase multi-day tickets. Right now, Disney's Animal Kingdom does show availability for this weekend as viewed in this
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar. Of course, this can change at any time so be sure to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar before purchasing your tickets.
Francisco, even though you will not be able to use your Annual Pass to gain admittance to a theme park you can still use your
Annual Pass Benefits & Discounts as well as enjoy free standard parking.
Have a Magical vacation Francisco! Please come back and visit us here again at planDisney with all of your vacation planning questions.
See Ya Real Soon,
Brenda
