I am an annual Passholder. I have a reservation for Epcot on June 14 and am staying on property, but would like to try for the virtual cue for Tiana's and park hop to MK. Am I able to try for 7am VQ or can I only try for the 1pm one?

Hi there Jennifer, it's great to have you here at planDisney!

As a fellow Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder, I was delighted to hear that we would have a few opportunities to preview Tiana's Bayou Adventure before it opens to all guests in June and I can only imagine how competitive it must have been to snag a Theme Park Reservation to Magic Kingdom Park on those dates when the news first came out. One of the first things I noticed was how different this was to the previous previews for attractions such as TRON Lightcycle / Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind so I'm happy to shed a little light and dig a little deeper on what you might expect:

    • According to the currently posted guidelines for Annual Passholder previews, you must have a theme park reservation specifically for Magic Kingdom Park on the morning of either June 13, 14, 16, 17, 18 or 20 in order to be eligible for a chance to join the Virtual Queue at 7:00 A.M. while having a reservation to any other theme park that day will allow you to be eligible to attempt to join the Virtual Queue at 1:00 P.M. that afternoon. These spots may go quicker than the blink of a firefly, so be sure to have the My Disney Experience app ready to go with your party selected so that you can swiftly select Join Virtual Queue the second it becomes available.
    • A detail that is interesting to note is the following: "Passholders do not need to have entered a theme park when they request to join the virtual queue." I'm curious as to what this will be like in practice, and will be spending that week observing guest behavior and operations closely to see how this change to the Annual Passholder preview process will pan out overall.
I hope this was helpful, Jennifer! I can't wait for everyone to enjoy all of the great new Audio-Animatronics designed by so many talented folks at Walt Disney Imagineering for this ride, and be sure to stay tuned to planDisney and the Disney Parks Blog for more as Tiana's Bayou Adventure opens here at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

I hope you're able to drop into Tiana's very special swinging celebration this month!
