I'm happy to report that, yes, once you scan into the park and purchase a
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can then make Lightning Lane selections with any friends and family whose tickets you have linked to your account. Multi-Pass is subject to availability and can become unavailable during peak holiday weeks, but I'll send a wish upon a star that since your visit falls at the end of the holiday season, this will not be an issue for you. Don't forget, when you use your Magic Key to enter the park, you are currently entitled to 25% off the Multi Pass cost for the day (subject to change)!
To
link friends and family to your account, simply head into your
Disneyland App and tap the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner, selecting "My Tickets and Passes". In the top right-hand corner of the next screen, tap the "+" to link additional tickets and follow the instructions from there. I personally think it's easiest to do this once everyone is together in person, which allows you to simply scan the barcode of their ticket or tap their MagicBand+, if they have one. Otherwise, you must manually type in the ticket ID number. I recommend that everyone in your group links to each other, as this will allow the maximum flexibility throughout your day. Everyone will be able to make Lightning Lane selections for the full group or break off into smaller groups if Guests want to split up at any point.
Before you head into the parks, you'll want to check out the "
Extras Unlocked" for Magic Key holders to see if any limited-time treats or experiences are being offered during your visit. You can easily find this in the app by tapping into the "Magic Key Portal" on the home screen of the app and selecting "View All Extras".
