Welcome back to planDisney, Jimmy! From one
Annual Passholder to another, isn't it magical to be making plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort again? I love the flexibility of being a Passholder and knowing my next visit is always just around the river bend!
Jimmy, with the recent addition of Magic Kingdom's nighttime parade,
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, there were some temporary changes to the Annual Passholder theme park reservation requirements, but as of July 27, those
changes have been lifted and Annual Passholders may once again visit any of the theme parks (including Magic Kingdom) without a theme park reservation on good-to-go days and on weekdays after 2 PM. Magic Kingdom does still require theme park reservations on Saturdays and Sundays at any time of the day.
With this in mind, I'm happy to let you know that yes, you are more than welcome to leave Magic Kingdom and return later in the same day if you'd like! As an Annual Passholder, you are also able to park hop between different theme parks on the same day; just be sure to make a
theme park reservation (if required) for your first park of the day, and once you've redeemed that reservation, you can hop to any other park whenever you're ready! I love the flexibility of starting my day at one theme park, taking a break for some pool time, a resort nap, or maybe a character dining experience, and then heading to another park for nighttime entertainment and late-night attractions!
Jimmy, keep in mind that if a park reaches capacity, you may not be allowed back in. While this is a rare occurrence, you'll want to keep an eye on the
My Disney Experience mobile app for any notifications about capacity during your visit.
I hope this helps, Jimmy, and I hope you have a magical visit! If you have any other questions, come see us again anytime here at
planDisney!
Magic Awaits,
Alison
