Hi! I am an annual passholder, and I'd like to bring my mom with me sometime. She is disabled, how do I go about renting a scooter for her?

    Hi, Valerie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

During one of our most recent Disney vacations, my husband had an injury that limited his ability to walk. Thankfully, there were several options for us to enjoy our trip to Disney while Dad needed a little extra pixie dust.

At the entrance of each park, you can rent an ECV for $50 per day with a $20 refundable deposit. Each ECV must be returned to the place of rental upon exited the park to receive the refund. If you plan to park hop, just return the rental before exiting the park and take the receipt from the first rental, along with the $20 refundable deposit to rent for that day at the other parks.

Tip: ECV rentals are on a first come, first served basis, so try to arrive at the park early to secure your rental.

There are also private companies in the Orlando Area that rent to Disney guests, and some of those will deliver the ECV to your resort to use for the duration of your vacation.

I hope this helps to make your and your mom's Disney vacation extra special! If you have more questions, please visit us again!

    Happy planning!
