Hiya Megan,
Welcome to planDisney! Isn’t it wonderful being an
Annual Passholder at Walt Disney World Resort?! As much as I visit the Most Magical Place on Earth, it was definitely a smart choice for my family and me. We love being able to visit as frequently as we like, and the discounts on dining, merchandise, events, and more are my favorite perk. I get all of the Orange Bird and Disney Home Collection merchandise I want, and I get to tell my Prince Charming I got a discount.
Annual Passholder discounts are constantly changing, so it can be challenging to determine if a location will be honoring the discount with certainty. I checked the most
recent list on the Walt Disney World Resort website and didn’t see L’Esprit de la Provence on it. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean it, and any of the other shops in the France Pavillion at
EPCOT are not accepting the Annual Passholder Discount if they are open. My recommendation is to ask a Cast Member when you enter the shop. They will be able to give you the most up-to-date policy and save you from picking up an item, falling in love with it, and internally bargaining about whether or not you will buy it if the discount isn’t accepted. The same advice pertains to
Disney Gift Cards. I’ve found that Disney Gift Cards are generally accepted at all Disney-owned-and-operated locations,
shopDisney, and select non-Disney-owned locations. However, just like the Annual Passholder discount, the list of participating vendors and places is ever evolving. There have been times when a location didn’t accept my Disney Gift Card one visit and then accepted it during the next. My mantra is always, “when in doubt, ask the Cast Member.”
Apologies that I can’t give you a definitive answer, but I hope I was helpful. Please come back and see us if there is anything else you need!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
