    I am annual passholder and would like clarification on park hopping and reservation requirements. If I enter a theme park after 2pm on a Saturday without a park reservation, am I then free to park hop to Magic Kingdom or is a reservation still needed?

    Welcome to planDisney! As a fellow Annual Passholder, I would like to say "Welcome to the family!" Becoming an Annual Passholder is one of my favorite things about this past year. 

    Earlier this year, Park Hopping transformed back to something awesome. Here are the details:

    • Annual Passholders must have a valid admission and theme park reservation to enter a Park. Valid admission means that your pass is not expired and the day you wish to visit is not a blockout date. 
    • As an Annual Passholder, you can Park Hop at any time. However, you do still have to make theme park reservations unless that day is deemed a "Good-to-go day" or if it is after 2:00 PM.
    • Annual Passholders can enter any park they like without a theme park reservation after 2:00 PM. However, this is not allowed for Magic Kingdom Park on Saturdays and Sundays. 
    • If you wish to Park Hop, then passholders must enter the park where they had their Theme Park Reservation first and then they are free to hop to another park whenever they like. 
    To answer your question, if you wish to start your day at 2:00 PM on a Saturday at EPCOT let's say, and then want to Park Hop to Magic Kingdom Park a few hours later then you are free to do so. Of course, the fine print says that this is subject to availability. If the Park gets to certain capacity limitations you will not be allowed to hop over. Anticipate this during school breaks and major holidays like Christmas and Easter.
