Have annual passes w/magic bands & have reservations for an upcoming onsite stay. Wondering if/how I can link the magic bands to the hotel reservation so I do not have to have 2 separate bands. 1 for entrance to park and 1 for hotel room key.

Hi there, Pamela! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel from another Florida girl!

When you're a Florida Resident Passholder and a frequent Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guest like I am, you tend to collect quite a few of the fun and functional MagicBands. I have one from each recent Resort hotel stay, plus one for my Florida Resident Seasonal Pass (with more to come!). And the great news is, all of your active MagicBands are completely interchangeable, so you don't have to use one for your Theme Park admission and another for your Resort hotel room.

If you go to your My Disney Experience account and select "MagicBands and Cards," you can manage all of the MagicBands assigned to you. If you see both sets of bands listed in your account, there's nothing more you need to do. Just grab the ones you want to use on your upcoming stay and you'll be good to go. In fact, you can even take both sets with you if you'd like to color coordinate your bands to your outfit! If you do find you have any problems with the bands at all, just pay a visit to your Resort hotel concierge desk and they'll iron it out for you.

I hope this helps with your planning, Pamela. Have fun with your MagicBands, and please come see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
