Do you annual passes start from the purchase date or the first date you visit a park? I want to make sure I can make my fastpass + selections 60 days in advance but I want my annual pass to start on the first day of my trip.

    Hi Brian!

I recently purchased my first Annual Pass a few weeks ago.  I can't wait until my trip in November to use it for the first time.   I bought my Annual Pass online and was given a confirmation number to link the Annual Pass to My Disney Experience.    Once the Annual Pass was linked I was able to choose Disney FastPass+ selections for my upcoming Walt Disney World adventure.   Your Annual Pass will not be redeemed or start until you activate it at a theme park ticket sales window once you arrive for your trip.    For example if you purchase your Annual Pass online on September 20, 2014 but do not plan on visiting the theme parks until December 20, 2014 you will have until December 20, 2015 to experience the Most Magical Place on Earth as many times as you would like.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel today.   If you think of anything else we can help you with, please let us know.    It's our pleasure to help Guests have the most pixie-dusted time possible while on vacation at Walt Disney World.

    Have a Disney Day,
