    Do annual passes start the first day of purchase or the first day of use? I saw an answer to this question, but when reading the answer, found that it only referred to Florida residents.

    Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Your Walt Disney World Annual Pass will not be activated until you arrive at a Walt Disney World Theme Park.  Simply head on over to the Ticket Booths and a Cast Member will be happy to assist you in obtaining your Annual Pass which resembles a credit card.  You may also activate your Annual Pass at Disney Springs. Just locate Guest Services once you arrive.  You will find directory maps throughout the Disney Springs area. Have identification handy and the credit/debit card you used to purchase your Annual Pass. 

    Diane's Tip of the Day:  Make sure to take advantage of discounts which come with being an Annual Passholder.  You can get up to 20% off of Disney dining and merchandise.  Make sure to let your Cast Members know that you are an Annual Passholder.  Again, please have identification with you.
