Hi there, Meghan! It's always a pleasure to help a fellow Pennsylvanian here at planDisney!
I'm so excited to hear that you are considering becoming a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder! I became an Annual Passholder a few years ago, and I'm so glad I did. I typically visit
Walt Disney World Resort at least two times each year, so I've found that I save some money by purchasing my Disney Incredi-Pass rather than buying
theme park tickets for each individual trip. When you factor in all of the Passholder benefits, limited-time offerings, and
discounts, becoming an Annual Passholder can be a great way to get the most out of your vacation budget.
When you purchase an Annual Pass, you will see it listed under "Tickets and Passes" in your
My Disney Experience mobile app. Prior to using your Annual Pass, the expiration date will be listed as one year from the date of purchase, but as soon as you enter a Walt Disney World theme park for the first time using your Annual Pass, that expiration date will switch to one year from that date of first use. You will then have an entire year of magic from that first day when you activate your pass.
The Disney Incredi-Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass, and Disney Pirate Pass will resume new sales and can be purchased online beginning April 20, 2023. The number of passes will be limited and passes, or a pass type, may become unavailable for purchase at any time. Therefore, I highly recommend purchasing yours as soon as they become available, even if your next trip is still several months away.
Meghan, if we can answer any other questions for you, please visit us again at planDisney. Wishing you a magical year as a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder!
Samantha
