Hey there, Aspen! I'm so glad you've stopped by
planDisney to chat about Walt Disney World Annual Passes. I've been a passholder for years now, Aspen, and I can say that it is well worth the initial investment.
Aspen, I think you'll be happy to know that your
Walt Disney World Annual Pass expires one year from the date of its first use. So if you purchase it tomorrow, but don't use it until your trip in November, your expiration date would also be in November of next year. With that being said, you are able to link your Walt Disney World Annual Pass immediately to your MyDisneyExperience account so you can go ahead and start making all of those park pass reservations that you'll need to enter the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.
The Walt Disney World Annual Pass program just opened back up for sales last month. I know so many people were happy to see the program resume sales! With its return, we did see a restructuring of the program. Now, there are several different levels of Walt Disney World Annual Passes and being a Florida resident, you actually have your choice of any of the tiers. I'd encourage you to take a look at the different levels and see which one is really going to work out for you. Some of the tiers have weekday blockout dates, weekend blockout dates, holiday blockout dates or no blockout dates at all. I encourage you to really look at the year ahead and think about when you'll want to use your annual pass the most. Because I am out-of-state and I visit on most holidays, I have the Disney Incredi-Pass which gives me access to the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks 365 days a year which I really love.
In addition to having access to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, I think you'll love some of the other perks as well. The discounts on food, merchandise and even select resort stays are really great as well. I also love the complimentary theme park parking that is included with all levels of the Walt Disney World Annual Pass. The list really could go on and on.
I hope this helps, Aspen. If you have any other questions about the Annual Pass program, I'd love for you to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help!
Have a great day!
