Hey there Michelle and welcome back to planDisney. I also hold annual passes to Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and it is the best. Being able to take our time at all six theme parks and Disney Water Parks makes it worth every penny. The discounts alone could pay for the annual pass.
As of now, your annual passes should automatically be linked to your Disney profile and not stored in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. If they are not then you may contact
Disneyland Resort (Magic Key Holders),
Walt Disney World Resort (Annual Passholders), or
Disney Cruise Line and speak with a Cast Member. They will help sort out this technology issue.
Regarding Disney Cruise Line perks and annual passes: One benefit that is not included with your theme park annual pass is onboard perks on any Disney Cruise Line ship. After spending a weekend at Disneyland Resort and then bouncing to Walt Disney World Resort for a day, we embarked on the Disney Wish. It was amazing but I was surprised when I purchased a shirt that the discounts and benefits are only extended to Gold, Platinum, and Pearl
Castaway Club Members, Disney Cast members, and Disney Vacation Club members, not theme park annual passholders. Also, note that some onboard perks may not be available depending on the sailing.
planDisney Pro Tip: One piece of technology that does work at all theme parks and Disney Cruise Line is your MagicBand+ (not regular MagicBand). On Disney Cruise Line they are called
DisneyBand+. It is the same device just a different name and you can use your MagicBand+ aboard by linking it to the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App.
Michelle, I hope they change this policy because there are a ton of annual passholders who would love to have an associated Disney Cruise Line perk. If you have more questions, please feel free to
write me back directly.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories on the high seas.
